Hello again, I had a student ask me about getting started with oil paints, and since it's been a while since I bought supplies I went shopping.

Still life SETUP
So often I get students who try to set up still lifes and they don't do so well. They forget a lot of key components.
- Make sure you hide the background
- Use a light to control your lighting
- Use cloth
- Stack and Overlap.
You can get some nice still lives with these simple rules.
Get Basic Drawing Supplies.
I often have students ask me what they need to start drawing. Here are some supplies that don't break the bank.
