So this last couple of weeks has been kind of a hectic. I haven't posted much, of which I want to post at least twice a month. I always get sidetracked with doing art or attempting to find the time to do so. So in the last month or so, I started to create some oil paintings. I was all ready to start some paintings and I found some old paintings that I had put aside. They were old canvas works and I put them aside because I didn't like them. So determined to fix my own shit, I grabbed them and started painting. Now mind you that I haven't painted with oils for several years. So I made some overall adjustments. These are 11x14 on canvas. I worked on getting a better form, and trying to add more color into skin. I also adjusted proportions and tried to fix them.
So here is some words of wisdom
1. On a canvas's that small, don't try for a ton of details.
2. Mix more paint than you need. Otherwise your constantly mixing paint.
3. Use Lindseed oil.
4. Put an undercoat in there.

Better but it needs to be painted on a bigger canvas |
